Founded in 1990, Buell & Elligett, P.A. is AV rated, Martindale Hubbell’s highest ranking. The named shareholders were partners in a large Tampa law firm.
The lawyers at Buell & Elligett are committed to providing clients with superior legal representation. The firm prepares and tries cases using a team approach, through which lawyers Board Certified by The Florida Bar, in civil trial law, business litigation, and appellate practice work together to provide clients a comprehensive trial presentation.
The firm’s lawyers are graduates of the law schools at Harvard, Michigan and the University of Florida. The partners of the firm each have over twenty years of experience. In addition to their respective board certifications, they have been honored with listings in The Florida Trend Legal Elite, Florida Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and other publications.
The firm’s lawyers participate in national, state and local bar activities. Two have served as presidents of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and a third is President-Elect. Members of the firm have served as chairs or vice-chairs of state and local trial lawyer sections, appellate practice sections, and eminent domain sections.
